EastEnders spoilers: Mick fights for Tina as she faces devastating exit
All hope seems lost for Tina Carter (Luisa Bradshaw-White) after the witness found by Gray Atkins (Toby-Alexander Smith) was paid by the vile lawyer not to back up Tina’s alibi – and with evidence linking her to trying to kill Iane Beale (Adam Woodyatt), Tina is frantic with worry.
In tonight’s EastEnders, Shirley (Linda Henry) appeared to share the sentiments that it was hopeless and she launched a wad of cash at Tina, telling her to run.
Tina was aghast, taking this as a sign that Shirley believes she is guilty but Shirley pointed out that it doesn’t matter what she thinks – when the evidence is put before a jury, Tina will be going down.
Tina launched the money back at Shirley, refusing to flee and fuel speculation that she was the one who attacked Ian on that fateful night.
Tina instead ran to find her brother Mick (Danny Dyer) who, upon seeing the state of his sibling, pulled himself together and vowed to take action to protect her.
He rejected Shirley’s idea that Tina should go on the run and instead promised her that he would sort this – they would face this together and he would find a solution.
But with time running out, can Mick see through his vow – or will Tina face her fate?
