EastEnders spoiler teases Janine’s last week in Walford as she struggles with Mick

Things have certainly been getting serious between Mick Carter (Danny Dyer) and Janine Butcher (Charlie Brooks) in the last few weeks of EastEnders. However, as the pair grow closer they begin to struggle with intimacy issues. Concerned, Janine resolves to move away from Walford if the judge grants her custody of Scarlett Butcher (Tabitha Byron).

Elsewhere in the BBC One soap, Stacey Slater (Lacey Turner) and Martin Fowler (James Bye) work together in the aftermath of Jean’s (Gillian Wright) Southend incident.

Also next week, Stuart questions whether he’s cut out for fatherhood while Rainie enjoys some peace and quiet.

It’s judgement day for Janine as Scarlett’s custody trial draws closer. But her mind is elsewhere as she and Mick continue to have intimacy issues.

Janine confronts him, but Mick is reluctant to talk about it and deflects her questions. He later confides in Mitch that he can’t be intimate with Janine.

However, when Janine finds out he had a thing with Whitney, the claws come out. She warns Whitney to stay away from him, but after her attempts to seduce him fail she makes a decision. If the judge gives her custody of Scarlett, she’ll leave Walford.

Elsewhere in Albert Square, Stacey struggles through the aftermath of Jean’s trip to Southend. She calls on Martin for support as she plans to tell Lily what happened but changes her mind.

Meanwhile, Sam continues to meddle with Kat. It’s a big week for Tommy as he pours all of his energy into impressing the football coach, Collin. However, when Sam overhears Martin telling Zack and Nancy about his knife incident, she swoops in to sabotage his chances.

Speaking loudly to them about the trouble he’s in, Sam makes sure the coach overhears. Kat is devastated when Collin tells her Tommy can’t be on the team.

Also this week, Stuart questions whether he’s cut out for fatherhood while Rainie enjoys some peace and quiet.

Stuart continues to hide his painkillers from Rainie.
