The last few months for Isaac Baptiste (played by Stevie Basaula) have been tough after he stopped taking his medication for schizophrenia and consequently sectioned. Doting girlfriend Lola Pearce (Danielle Harold) stuck by his side throughout his treatment, despite his mother Sheree Trueman (Suzette Llewellyn) trying her best to break the pair up. Now in upcoming scenes on the BBC soap, Sheree has a life-changing plan for herself and Isaac, which could leave more than a few hearts broken.

Isaac has struggled with his schizophrenia for months and it wasn’t long before fans saw him make the life-changing decision to stop taking his medication.

Lola became his support system as she agreed she wanted to stay by his side and help him through his decision.

However, Sheree soon became rapidly concerned over their relationship and Isaac’s behaviour and took matters into her own hands.

She told Lola and Patrick Trueman (Rudolph Walker) that they all needed to help convince Isaac to take his medication once again, but nothing seemed to work.

His hallucinations became too strong for him to handle and resulted in him breaking into Ruby Allen’s (Louisa Lytton) house, which then saw him become sectioned to help get him through his deteriorating mental health.

Isaac’s latest troubles involved Amy Mitchell (Abbie Burke) posting on social media about his mental health which caused parents from the school he worked at to leave nasty comments and called for Isaac to be let go.

Lola was upset when she found out that Kat Slater (Jessie Wallace) refused to stick up for Isaac causing more rifts between the couple.

Sheree overheard what had happened but decided to not tell Isaac as she thought it was in his best interests as the pair had some hostility between them.

However, she was pleased to see that Isaac wanted her to visit, but not before finding out that Lola had also been visiting in spite of her attempt to keep them apart.

She once again told Lola that Isaac needed to focus on his recovery, rather than any romantic relationships but that didn’t stop Lola from wanting her boyfriend back.

Following Isaac’s recent hospitalisation, Sheree suggested to Isaac that they move back to Trinidad in an attempt to aid his recovery and allow him the space to forget about Lola.

Her thoughts fell on deaf ears though when she soon overheard Lola and Isaac has reconciled and agreed to give their relationship another go.

In upcoming scenes, despite Isaac’s desperation to stay in Walford, Sheree will be seen booking two tickets for herself and her son to fly back to the Caribbean.

Feeling anxious about the move, Sheree confides in husband Patrick but is met with nothing but disappointment when her other half agrees with Isaac when he says he doesn’t want to go.

Patrick tries to calm Sheree down and remind her of all the progress he has made, but she is insistent that they should go to Trinidad to fully recover and get away from Lola.

Not wanting to go through with his mum’s plans, Isaac is determined to get his job back and is surprised that the headmistress hadn’t called him back.

Hearing about her son’s plans, Sheree becomes alarmed and lies to him about why they haven’t called him back as they were waiting for things to cool down after the online abuse which crushes him.

Later, Patrick changes his mind and tells Isaac that he too thinks Trinidad is the best place for the family and tells him and Sheree that he would also go with them.

Fans of the show took to Reddit to share their thoughts on what could possibly happen to Isaac, with one writing: “I feel like the loss of his job and pressures from him mum to move will just send him straight back into the mental hospital? Lola is the only one who supports him!!” (sic)

Another adding: “Sheree is annoying me. He is a grown man and needs to make his own decisions, no wonder he doesn’t like her!”

So, with Patrick seemingly on side and Isaac continuing to struggle, could fan theories come to fruition and see him pack his bags to leave Walford?
