Eamonn Holmes in fresh swipe at Phillip Schofield over ‘feud’
GB News: Eamonn Holmes on Phil and Holly This Morning debate
It’s been a drama-filled few weeks over at This Morning and it looks like Eamonn Holmes has taken a fresh swipe at his former co-worker Phillip Schofield on social media.
Eamonn liked a post on Twitter, which was shared by a fan, which showed him and wife – and fellow TV presenter – Ruth Langsford dancing around the studio.
The video, which was shared amid mounting pressure for Phil to quit the ITV show following his reported feud with Holly Willoughby, was captioned: “Absolute scenes round at @RuthieeL ’s and @EamonnHolmes ’ house #ThisMorning.”
The scenes were filmed when Ruth and Eamonn left This Morning in 2021 and new Friday hosts Dermot O’Leary and Alison Hammond took over the slot.
But it’s not the first time Eamonn has had something to say about the rumoured rift between Holly and Phil.
When speaking about the presenting duo missing the BAFTA TV Awards this week, Eamonn suggested: “I think there should have been a special award for Phillip Schofield and Holly Willoughby for best actors.”
It is reported Holly and Phil’s once amiable relationship has “cooled” off camera.
Eamonn has been very open about his feelings towards Phil ever since he cut off Ruth during a segment on Loose Women.

At the time, Eamonn revealed: “Phillip is renowned for snubbing people. He’s very passive-aggressive. It’s up to Ruth to say how she felt, but I was feeling hurt for her. No one would have snubbed me like that.”
Ruth launched an official complaint to ITV over Phil’s behaviour, with eight other employees calling the This Morning host “toxic”.
If the rumours are to be believed, Phil may not be hosting This Morning much longer, while Holly will stay on in her role.
In the meantime, viewers have called for Eamonn to return as a host on the show.
One fan took to Instagram to say: “Get back on TM make it worth watching again xx.”
While another commented on a recent photo of him and Ruth on Instagram: “Great couple , you need to be back on TM.”
This Morning airs weekdays on ITV at 10am.
