Speaking on Monday’s This Morning, Ruth Langsford revealed how she watched a man get out of his car on the M25 and take his trousers off to switch outfits. She explained she was taken aback by the moment as Eamonn Holmes complained he’d been trying to nap when his wife nudged him to watch the man.

“What do you do?” Ruth asked. “Lots of men and women were nipping in and out of their cars and into the hard shoulder and bushes. For women, what do you do?”

Eamonn added: “You get a she-wee. That’s what it’s called and you sit on it.”

As Ruth cringed, her husband noted: “Well if you’ve got to go, you’ve got to go.”

“Well yeah, if you’ve got to go, you’ve got to go,” Ruth agreed.

Eamonn continued: “Ruth saw the most interesting thing. She was sitting there and I was trying to sleep.

“And she was like, ‘Look what I see, look what I see,’ and I was like, ‘Oh I don’t care.’

“She then showed me on her camera because she had a quick look out of her camera to see this.

“A man got out in the lane, the M25, took his trousers off and put a kilt on it. He took his trousers off and put a kilt on, I don’t know what other way you want to describe that.”

“Well what I meant was he didn’t take his trousers off and stand in his pants,” Ruth clarified.

“He put his kilt on. I was fascinated. But since then, it’s on my Instagram, I posted it thinking, ‘The things you see in a traffic jam,’ and ‘Oh bless him, he must be late for a wedding or something.’”
