DANCING On Ice fans have spoken out about the show's shock new format -being CUT by 30 minutes a week.

The hit skating show returns to our screens on Sunday January 15 -after undergoing a revamp for 2023.

Telly fans flocked to Twitter to applaud ITV for the new move to reduce the length of Dancing on Ice by 30 minutes.

The announcement on social media read: "New Dancing on Ice returns to ITV & ITVX on Sunday 15th at 6:30pm.

"This year the series is reduced to 90 minutes per episode; so rather than 6 dances in 2 hours, we’ll now have 11 dances in just an hour and a half."

One said: "This sounds way better. Cut out the filler and just give us the dances and the scores. The old way was so slow and broke up with ad breaks too much."

Another said: "That’s better.. less show filler or extra advert then."

A third chimed in: "All shows need to do this!! The Adverts are ridiculous."

A fourth agreed: "So much better. They don't half drag it out."
