Curtis Pritchard cruelly DUMPED from Love Island The Games as UK stars snub him in recoupling | The Sun

CURTIS Pritchard has been brutully dumped from the Love Island villa for the second time.

The Dancing With The Stars professional dancer previously made it into the final of the fifth instalment of the series in 2019.

Curtis, 27, came in fourth place alongside his ex-girlfriend Maura Higgins, 32, after they received the least votes from the public.

He was one of the UK names to return to the hit franchise for the new spin-off series, Love Island The Games.

However it seems his villa comeback did not go as he expected because he was dumped from the competition.

Alongside Love Island Sweeden alumni, Lisa Celander, the pair were voted to be put on the chopping block by Ray Gantt and Imani Wheeler.

Other familiar Love Island faces to UK viewers were also at risk for dumping, which included the likes of Liberty Poole with her Australian hunk Callum Hole.

Toby Aromolaran with his own US fling, Cely Vasquez were also vulnerable for the islander vote.

Georgia Steel and Eyal Booker entered the villa as new bombshells where she decided to couple up with Toby.

Eyal in turn decided to team up with Cely which meant both contestants were then safe from the dumping.

However, the remaining couples chose to save the other pairing, which meant Curtis and Lisa were brutally axed from the villa.

As he left the villa, the former Celebs Go Dating star commented to the rest of the boys: "You win some, you lose some."

Later he spoke to producers in his confessional where he fumed: "I feel like I shouldn't have to leave the villa truthfully, I feel like I haven't had my time to shine."

UK personality Jack Fowler was one of the stars behind the decision as he was coupled up with USA personality Justine Ndiba.

Giving his reasoning for the decision, he explained: "I've had to go purely off the fact that one of you couples has been vulnerable twice now, so the couple we're saving is Callum and Liberty."

Megan Barton Hanson is currently with USA singer Kyra Green in the first same-sex couple of the series.

She was left agonising over who to send home as she made her decision.

The UK reality star explained: "So this is a really tough decision for me as these are the four I'm closest to other than Kyra, I've had real deep conversations with Lisa.

"I love you, Curtis, I've always had a soft spot for you and obviously Liberty is my closest girl and I just think Callum brings so much to the villa, and I just couldn't really imagine my time in here without him."

She added: "So the couple we're saving is Liberty and Callum."
