Coronation Street spoilers: Max Turner films Amy Barlow being spiked in video nasty

AMY Barlow's nightclub outing takes a turn for the worse after her drink is spiked with GHB.

Little do the teen and her friends know that Max Turner (played by actor Paddy Bever) filmed the scene in Coronation Street.

After celebrating her 18th birthday in the company of her family – and even her criminal boyfriend Jacob portrayed by Jack James Ryan – Amy (Elle Mulvaney) is ready for a taste of adulthood.

In upcoming scenes of the ITV soap, Jacob approaches his girlfriend and her friends Asha Alahan and Summer Spellman, suggesting they go clubbing in town after the Valentine's Dance.

But when the group meet up with Jacob outside a club, Amy becomes increasingly woozy upon their arrival and suddenly collapses.

While Amy is in hospital, it soon becomes clear: the youngster has been spiked prior to her nightclub outing, as traces of GHB were found in her system.

With Jacob's bad reputation well-known to him, Amy's father Steve McDonald (Simon Gregson) is convinced he has found the culprit, although the Weatherfield bad boy out Amy in the safety position which ultimately saved her.

But Max could set the record straight as he filmed the Valentine's Dance, where Amy was supposedly drugged.

Max left the dance disappointed but is soon asked by teacher Daniel Osbourne (Rob Mallard) to download the footage of the dance for the police's investigation.

Watching the footage back, Max is shocked by what he sees.

Soon, his adoptive father David (Jack P. Shepherd) comes home with a police officer and Max hands his camera over.

Max has wreaked havoc in Weatherfield High, mainly targeting Daniel.

The ongoing rift between pupil and teacher became even more heated when the latter pushed the boy down a flight of stairs.
