Naga Munchetty light-heartedly hit out at Carol Kirkwood on BBC Breakfast as she discussed the latest Hanforth Parish Council meeting to spiral into chaos with host Jon Kay. As the BBC host teased the weather reporter about her behaviour in the breakfast meetings, Carol “reprimanded” her for not paying attention to the forecast.
“That reminds me of the breakfast meetings when Carol was in them,” Naga said before introducing the weather report.
“Sorry Carol sorry, you’re brilliant,” she added and Carol hit back: “Too late Naga the damage is done.”
After the forecast, Naga asked Jon” “Were you listening because she absolutely has no authority?”
“You have no authority Carol Kirkwood,” Jon joked and Carol hit back: “I don’t mind if you two weren’t listening as long as the viewers are.”

“Did you see that hint? That was a hint at just how strict Carol is, I did feel completely reprimanded,” Naga said.
Carol burst out laughing and quipped: “Naga, you need to get out more.”
“You’ve always got the authority Carol, of course,” Naga remarked and the weather reporter added: “As if.”
