Cardi B begs fans for help over her 'uncomfortable' acne battle as she reveals blackheads and pimples
CARDI B has asked fans for help as she bravely opened up on her "uncomfortable" acne.
The mom of one took to social media to ask fans for help, admtting her skin was "extremely dry" and she had been "breaking out."
The rapper shared that it had been bad for three months, and questioned whether it was the water in Los Angeles, as she has been stuck in the city during the pandemic.
"I been breaking out lately and my face is extremely dry. I don’t think these products are working. I think it’s the water out here," she tweeted.
"What are some good products for little black heads break outs and dry skin on your face?"
As the responses poured in, Cardi shared a picture of her skin, adding: "It’s been happening for like 3 months now … S**t really is uncomfortable."
The 28-year-old went on to reveal she had seen a dermatologist but that the products they offered her "dried my face more", and that she "didn't have time" to wait three months for it to be fixed.
Others suggested she try retinol but Cardi also claimed it burned her face; when one fan told her it can take a few weeks for her skin to get used to it, the Wap singer replied: "Yea the doctor told me that …I don’t got time for my face to do that."
Cardi also revealed popular brands like Cetaphil and Cerave didn't work for her, but she shared she would be trying The Ordinary, and that Kehlani had "recommended me somebody for my face."
"Imma give ya a update in 2 weeks…" she concluded.
Cardi B, real name Belcalis Almanzar, is originally from the Bronx in New York and started out as a stripper before she joined the reality show Love and Hip Hop: New York in 2015 for two seasons
She left the show to concentrate on her music career,and in 2017 won Best New Hip Hop Artist, Single of the Year, Hustler of the Year at the BET Hip Hop awards.
She won Best Rap Album at the 2019 Grammy Awards, the first solo female rapper to ever do so.
Cardi gave birth to her daughter Kulture Kiari Cephus on July 10 2018. She is married to Migos rapper Offset.
