Bridgerton season one was all about Daphne Bridgerton (played by Phoebe Dynevor) and finding her a suitor after being named the diamond of the season. Now that she is happily married, the other Bridgerton siblings will grab more screen time, and although she will be appearing in season two, Phoebe has her eyes set on other projects.

Having starred in the show which smashed Netflix’s streaming record, the 26-year-old is now set to appear in an upcoming Amazon Studios film.

With her role in season two of Bridgerton still under lock and key, fans are unsure how much they will see of the leading lady in its second instalment.

Alongside appearing in Bridgerton, she has popped up in the show Younger as Irish tech wiz Clare O’Brien and is soon to be appearing in the British spin on the French show Call My Agent – Ten Percent.

Corsets and summer balls behind her, fans know the actress will play a pivotal role in the Amazon film The Outlaws Scarlett & Browne.

The thriller is based on the Jonathan Stroud book of the same name.

Set in futuristic England, Scarlett McCain (played by Phoebe) discovers a coach wreckage with only one survivor, a young boy Albert Browne (yet to be cast); Scarlett has to decide what to do with him.

The story combines gunfights and monsters as Scarlett tries to figure out Albert’s past and stay alive.

This venture is not her first with the streaming and online shopping giant Amazon.

It was recently announced she will be executive producing and starring in Cooper Raiff’s upcoming Amazon limited series Exciting Times.

James Bobin is tipped to be directing this futuristic monster western with fans seeing his previous work on films such as The Mysterious Benedict Society and The Muppets.

Since the success of the Netflix show, which launched her into the public eye, Phoebe has also worked on the projects I Heart Murder at Sony Pictures and The Colour Room from Sky Cinema.

Recently, Phoebe teased viewers with a few nuggets about her upcoming Bridgerton appearance.

She said: “Daphne has become the adult of the family. She’s found what she’s looking for — she’s had a baby, she’s a wife and mother.

“There’s a real confidence and womanhood about her this season.”

Talking to Entertainment Weekly, she added: “She is the rock of the siblings in this season, which is quite nice to play.

“Daphne’s leading the way in terms of knowing what love is, what it means, and what marriage means, and she’s trying to pass on that knowledge to Anthony.”

If she isn’t busy enough already, she is also meant to be starring in an upcoming rom-com film.

Appearing in The Bank of Dave, the movie is brought to life by creative Piers Ashworth, the writer behind St Trinian’s, and Fisherman’s Friend.

She will be starring alongside Cruella actor Joel Fry and  Penny Dreadful’s Rory Kinnear.
