On Sunday evening, Clara Amfo and Greg James hosted a special Team GB concert welcoming the British Olympic team home. The BBC programme not only saw performances from Anne-Marie, Bastille and Yungblud, but Clara and Greg spoke with some of the British Olympic team about their victories at the Tokyo Olympics 2020. However, some BBC viewers were not happy with the coverage, with many claiming to have “switched off”. Others complained about technical issues with the sound while others felt it was unfair to hold the concert without the Paralympic team there.
Taking to social media to air their thoughts, one viewer raged: “Sod this. I’m off, back to watching Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince for the 13th time.”
Another penned: “Finding Team GB’s Homecoming Concert a little cringing. Glad I’m going to work.”
A third wrote: “Too much singing and not enough highlights, I’m off.”
“Disappointed they didn’t wait until after the Paralympics to do this,” a fourth tweeted.

A fifth commented: “Is this #TeamGBhomecoming not a little premature and unfair without the Paralympians?”
Complaining about the technical issues, another viewer said: “Let’s ramp the volume up, please?!!!!” (sic)
A seventh quizzed: “What’s with the low volume?”
While another asked: “Doesn’t anyone ever check the sound levels on these events?”
