BBC Radio One star Greg James has revealed she shocking moment he was hit in the head by a BUS.

The 37-year-old said he was left stunned when a speedy driver pulled into the lane and misjudged how close he was to the pavement.

Greg was talking about his "darkness" on How To Fail With Elizabeth Day – and how he uses road rage to get his anger out.

He said: "I got really cross at a bus driver once. I was waiting for a bus because I'm incredibly down to earth and take the bus…

"He swooped in so quickly he hit my head. He actually hit my head.

"I was on the pavement. I said 'mate, you just hit me in the head with your bus'. He went 'oh shut up'.

"I said 'what do you mean shut up? You hit me with your bus, look how big your bus is'. I get riled at transport.

"The real darkness comes when I'm tired, stressed and over-worked. I have really horrible moments of crippling self-doubt sometimes.

"I wake up and think how am I going to do this radio show today. Am I any good? I've been doing it for ages, maybe I should be doing something else."

Greg was presenting the Drivetime show on BBC Radio when it was announced he was the new Breakfast host in 2018.

He took over from Nick Grimshaw as the pair switched shows, with Grimshaw taking on the Drivetime show from 4 pm–7 pm.

Greg recently launched his very own Channel 4 show.

Rise and Fall is a game of strategy as 16 ordinary people compete to rise to a position of power.
