US rapper Mo3 killed after being shot in head in Dallas daylight shooting

Rapper Mo3 has been shot dead in Dallas, US, according to reports.

The rapper was shot dead on Wednesday afternoon on the I-35 freeway in Texas, according to TMZ.

It is believed the rapper, who died aged 28, was shot just before noon Wednesday and was taken to hospital where he died from his injuries.

It is claimed by sources the gunman and Mo3 were both traveling northbound on I-35 when the shooter sprayed the rapper's car with bullets.

He is then thought to have crashed into a concrete barrier before coming to a halt.

The rapper then reportedly got out of his car and started running before being shot multiple times, it is claimed.

The gunman also shot an innocent witness as he sat in his vehicle, it is alleged.

The bystander was rushed to hospital to be treated for non life-threatening injuries.

The Dallas-based rapper previously told how he survived a shooting last year when he posted a shocking video showing blood gushing from his head just moments after the attack.
