This Video of Chanyeol Covering Coldplay’s ‘Everglow’ at Sister’s Wedding Will Melt Your Heart
Chanyeol of EXO just caused fans frenzy after a video of him taking the stage at his sister Park Yoora’s wedding surfaced online. During the nuptials, the South Korean heartthrob delivered a rendition of Coldplay‘s “Everglow”.
Looking dapper in a black suit, he sweetly rhymed, “Oh they say people come, say people go/ This particular diamond was extra special/ And though you might be gone, and the world may not know/ Still I see you, celestial.” He showcased his powerful vocals when the song reached the bridge, singing, “Oh, what I wouldn’t give for just a moment to hold/ Yeah, I love for this feeling, this everglow.”
Many fans have confessed that they are crying after watching the clip. “Idk why but when I watch this vid I feel like I’m going to cry,” one fan said, while another similarly stated, “Your words touched my heart but his singing made me ugly… in the end, he just wants to sing out his love for his noona [sister]. This is heartwarming.”
“Is someone cutting onions or my eyes sweating?” one other said. One fan admitted that her “makeup looked perfectly until I started sobbing in the kitchen.” Another commented, “He sing everglow by coldplay im not crying you are.”
Park Yoora tied the knot with her boyfriend of one year, Hong, in Seoul over the weekend with Jung Ji Woong hosting the nuptials. Other members of EXO who attended the ceremony were Chen, Baekhyun, Kai and Sehun.
