Susanna Reid says she’s ‘overdone comfort eating’ – but fans brand her ‘sexy’

Good Morning Britain presenter Susanna Reid joked she's been "overdoing the comfort eating" after being branded her "sexy" on social media.

Susanna, 49, dropped the confession on Twitter yesterday after receiving the gushing compliment.

Responding to a tweet, which read: "You're sexy", Susanna cheekily responded: "I’m rather overdoing the comfort eating tbf."

Piers Morgan's co-star then received tons of messages from fans telling her how great she looked.

One told her: "You're still a very sexy woman with a gorgeous curvy figure Susanna."

While added: "You carry on. In my opinion you’re looking much better for it."

A third jibed: "Whatever you’re doing it’s working apparently."

Susanna also hit headline today as her and Piers were accused of "snubbing" their fellow GMB presenters.

GMB viewers were surprised to see the pair presenting Friday morning's show, replacing the other GMB stars in the studio.

Usually, Piers and Susanna take Fridays off, leaving presenters such as Ben Shephard, Adil Ray, Charlotte Hawkins, Ranvir Singh, or Kate Garraway to lead the show.

Talking about the replacement, Piers said he and Susanna had been recruited to cover the US election this week, hosting each day as Biden VS Trump continues.

This led snub viewers to thinking the other GMB stars had been snubbed – with it seeming they 'weren't good enough' to host the election coverage.

One said: "By persisting with Piers and Susanna are @itv executives saying that other #GMB presenters aren't good enough to host the #USElectionResults."

"#GMB Does Piers and Susanna having to do 5 days during a big story week an admission that the other presenters are only there to tick boxes @GMB," wrote a second.

"Why are Piers & Susannah presenting on days they don't normally do? Why are the other presenters not capable of talking about the US election? I have a feeling they will be gutted if the results are confirmed over the weekend," added a third.
