Peter Andre posts sweet tribute to late brother as Princess adds loving comment
Peter Andre shared an emotional post with Instagram fans as he paid respect to his late brother Andrew – who died nine years ago.
The 48-year-old singer was left devastated after his brother passed away in 2012 following a battle with cancer.
Taking to his Instagram story, Peter re-shared his brother Michael's heartfelt post which was posted to mark what would have been Andrew's birthday.
The graphic showcased exactly how many months, days, hours, minutes, seconds and years they'd missed their loved one for.
It read: "108 months, 3,285 days, 78.840 hours, 4.730.400 minutes, 283,824.000 seconds, 9 years.
Michael penned: "Not a moment goes by I don't miss you my brother," which was accompanied by a grey heart emoji.
Peter followed up with his own caption, adding: "Miss you brother."
Princess added to the post: "Forever in our hearts".
Their brother Andrew tragically lost a 10-month battle with kidney cancer in 2012.
During that time, Peter took time out of his super-busy work schedule to make time for his sick brother.
Sadly the singer's brother didn't make it see Christmas that year as he sadly slipped away in December – which caused considerable heartache for the entire Andre family.
The father-of-four struggled to speak about his brother's passing for some time after his death but later confessed in a 2016 interview on This Morning that his mental health had been affected.
Speaking to Holly Willoughby and Phillip Schofield he opened up about how his family just couldn't come to terms with their brothers sudden loss – it was just too painful.
At the time, Peter explained to the two ITV hosts: "We are so close that the pain is as great whoever it is and it happened to be our eldest brother, who was quite young, and it tore us apart."
He added: "We have not to this day – three, four years later sat down as a family and talked about it.
"We just sort of move it away because it literally is still so raw."
