Love Island’s Millie Court had therapy after split from Liam and admits mistake
Love Island star Millie Court has revealed that she went to therapy after her devastating breakup with her fellow co-star Liam Reardon.
The pair, who met on the ITV reality dating show back in 2021, announced they had decided to go their separate ways in summer last year.
Many fans of the winning couple were left devastated at the news after believing they were going from strength to strength after they purchased a £1m mansion in Millie’s home county of Essex just a few months after they left the villa.

Speculation soon grew about the reason behind their break-up, with many guessing that their separation was rooted in infidelity.
Now, the loved-up couple are back together after rekindling their romance as the model opened up about the aftermath of their split to MailOnline.
In an interview with the publication, the 26-year-old TV personality revealed how she needed professional help to deal with what happened.
She explained: “Do you know for me it was hard to speak about people I knew, like friends and family, because I felt like they couldn’t relate.
“Because they obviously hadn’t gone through the things I’d been through in the sense of meeting someone on the show and all of this experience and then going through a breakup.
“It was a lot and I felt like speaking to someone who had absolutely no idea who I was or what had happened and getting fresh eyes and ears on the situation to get their outlook on it.”
The star, who admitted she thought part of the reason they split the first time around was because they had moved in together too soon, said therapy helped her come to terms with the major life changes she was facing.
She went on to add that she found it “really helpful” to get impartial advice, adding: “Sometimes your parents can be biased because they know you and they want the best for you and their opinions are a bit skewed, so it’s good to get a therapist’s views on things.”
Millie urged others to speak to someone if they feel they “need to speak to someone”, adding there should be no embarrassment in accepting help and ‘chatting’ with a therapist.
It’s fair to say fans are ecstatic to see the couple’s relationship is back on track, as they shared their excitement following their announcement on Instagram last week.
