Love Island Amber ‘tears up’ after arriving without Greg to the TV Choice Awards

Love Island winner Amber Gill fought back tears at the TV Choice Awards tonight after making her first public appearance since being dumped by Greg O'Shea.

The northern babe had been due to walk the red carpet with her Irish man, however, her plans were thrown into chaos after Greg dumped her – reportedly via text – last week.

According to the official seating plan, Greg and Amber were due to be sitting next to each other during the swanky bash on table number 28.

The table had been billed as a Love Island table with fellow islanders including Maura Higgins, Curtis Pritchard and Ovie Soko all in attendance.

When asked how she has been coping, according to The Mirror Online she 'got emotional" when talking about her break-up.

Amber told the publication: "I think because I was there for so long I had no idea what I was coming out to, so the amount of love and support I've received has been amazing.

"I think I went in the villa with about 4,000 Instagram followers then I came out with two million and now I've got three million."

The jilted-babe added: "It makes me happy that I'm making people happy."

Amber wasn't the only dateless star of the evening. Lucie Donlan also attended the awards without her man.

The surfing babe is officially dating Joe Garratt after rekindling their romance earlier this month.

However, rather than making a red carpet debut together, Joe was spotting hitting the gym in Bromley.
