GMB’s Susanna Reid gives classy response to troll after being called ‘chunky’

Popular Good Morning Britain host Susanna Reid has expertly shut down a Twitter troll who commented on her weight.

Susanna, 51, had shared an article written on several incidents of her wearing a similar outfit when interviewing Dame Joan Collins.

Susanna shared a light hearted thread highlighting the duo's matching attire, when a man with 31 Twitter followers interjected.

The troll tweeted: "Have you put on some weight? You are looking very chunky," to which Susanna simply replied: "Yes."

Susanna quote tweeted the question, meaning her 873,000 followers could see it. Her fans were appalled, and jumped to Susanna's defence.

Comedian Shaparak Khorsandi replied to the troll: "Angry is lonely fella. Phone a friend."

ITV presenter Katy Rickitt – wife of actor Adam Rickitt – wrote: "Why do people think this is ok?! I had one 'oh isn’t your nose big from the side?' When on Calendar… you look gorgeous Susanna and the fact this person is a cartoon pic says it all #stepawayfromthekeypad."
