Cheryl’s homeless brother seen living in tent as he swigs from can of cider
Former X Factor judge Cheryl's troubled family has come to light as her older brother, Andrew Tweedy has been pictured living in a tent and begging for money.
Andrew's life is now worlds apart from his sister's as he has been pictured living in a tent and asking for money on the streets.
The snaps show Andrew cooking a meal on the ground and swigging from a can of strong cider.
His tent was also surrounded by bottles of urine and beer cans, The Sun claims.
The 41-year-old told The Sun: "This is what I’m f***ing living like. I’ve been begging here for more than three months and it’s something that has really broken my heart.
“I’ve got so much f***ing pride. With the family I’ve got, I shouldn’t be here. It’s horrible.
“None of them have contacted me. Even though Cheryl’s not helping me, she’s still my family. She probably won’t even know I’m on the streets. I don’t blame her at all. This is the lowest I’ve ever been.”
Cheryl, 38, grew up with Andrew at their family home in Newcastle upon Tyne on council estates in the suburbs of Walker and Heaton.
Andrew has struggled with drug addiction for most of his life and has been in and out of prison since he was a teenager.

Cheryl previously gave her brother £20,000 to help him recover from his drug addiction.
Andrew is uncle to Cheryl's four-year-old son Bear who she shares with One Direction star Liam Payne.
The Fight For This Love singer lives in a £5 million mansion in Hertfordshire, a complete contrast to her brother's living arrangements.
Andrew has been seen drinking super-strength beer at 7am in parks in Northern England and currently shares a tent with a friend from the streets.
The father-of-one found himself homeless after he split with his girlfriend earlier this year.
Andrew and Cheryl went on very different paths from their childhood. Whilst Cheryl appeared in a TV advert for British Gas and went on ballet camps at the Royal Ballet School, her brother was getting arrested.
In 1996, Andrew was sent to a young offenders’ institution for six years after stabbing two students.
In 2005 Andrew missed Cheryl's wedding to footballer Ashley Cole because he spent five weeks on the run after he was given a four-year jail term for a brutal mugging and jumping bail.
Again in 2011, Andrew went to prison for six years following an armed robbery on a Post Office.
In a 2008 interview Andrew said, “I watch Cheryl on TV and think, ‘Your life is so different to the one you left behind.'"
"She tells me I should be inspired by what she’s done and I can turn my back on booze and violence. Instead, like a fool, I go back to the drink and the glue.”
