Caroline Flack’s boyfriend Lewis Burton ‘won’t press charges’ after her arrest
Caroline Flack's boyfriend Lewis Burton, 27, reportedly doesn't want to press charges after the Love Island host was arrested and charged with assault by beating.
A friend reportedly told the Mail Online: "Lewis is very upset and embarrassed about how this situation has blown up.
"It was a tiff between a couple that love each other and should never have ended up in the public domain.
"He has not – and is not pressing charges. He loves Caroline and wants things to be back to normal as soon as possible."
On Friday, the Met Police confirmed to Daily Star Online: "Caroline Flack, 40, of Islington was charged on Friday, 13 December with assault by beating. She will appear on bail at Highbury Corner Magistrates' Court on Monday, 23 December.

"This follows an incident at approximately 05:25hrs on Thursday, 12 December after reports of a man being assaulted. He was not seriously injured."
Splatters of blood were later seen on Caroline's front door, while Lewis shared a supportive message to his girlfriend on Instagram.
The London Ambulance Service confirmed that they had taken one person to hospital following the incident.

A spokesman said: "We were called yesterday (Thursday 12 December) at 5.28am to a residential address in Islington.
"We treated two people at the scene and took one person to hospital."
Meanwhile, a police spokesman added: "Officers attended along with the London Ambulance Service.
"A man sustained injuries, which are not thought to be serious.

"A woman was arrested at the location on suspicion of actual bodily harm."
A representative for Caroline said: "We confirm that police attended Caroline's home following a private domestic incident.
"She is co-operating with the appropriate people to resolve matters. We will not be making any further comment for legal reasons."
