Amanda Holden shares rare family pic as she slams MPs for Covid rules in schools
Amanda Holden has shared a rare image of her beautiful lookalike daughters in a bid to highlight issues when it comes to the current Covid-19 rules for school children.
The 50-year-old TV presenter wanted to use her platform so that millions of parents across the UK could be heard when it comes to isolating children from their classrooms.
She called on Government members to "halt this damaging mass isolation policy" so that kids can once again return to some sense of normally.
The Britain's Got Talent star shared an adorable family selfie with Hollie, nine, and Alexa, 15, along with her lengthy rant within the caption.
It began: "Call to Action. Sick of hypocrisy?
"If you feel strongly about Covid isolation in schools, send a letter to your MP (template letter available on Twitter and Facebook – UsforThemEngland) and the Children’s Commissioner – [email protected]"
The mum-of-two added: "Things to mention: Matt Hancock said we have special rules for elite football because it 'brings people joy'. As a parent, what brings me joy is seeing my children happy, healthy and thriving in school.
"It's very clear where the government’s priorities lie, and it's not with children."

She went on: "An FOI in November revealed that the Department for Education is not tracking what ultimately happens to the 30 or so children who are isolated along with the original positive case so we do not even know if this policy of mass isolation of healthy children is effective at mitigating viral transmission, or whether it is proportionate."

The on-screen judge wanted to point out further evidence to back-up her case that the process seemed to be unnecessary now.
Amanda continued: "This unfair, damaging policy needs to be urgently reviewed particularly in the context of the fact that more than 80% of adults now have Covid antibodies.
"How much longer are we going to destroy children’s educational prospects? Where is the roadmap for stabilising children’s learning? There is none because it is not a priority.
"This must stop."
She signed off with: "Please ask the Secretary of State for Education, Secretary of State for Health, and the Prime Minister to halt this damaging mass isolation policy so that children can normalise and begin to recover from this experience."
A number of her 1.7million followers applauded her words and for using her platform to spread her message, while others heaped compliments on her adorable family snap.
