Annabelle 3 is a Conjuring crossover with fan-favourite characters appearing
The evil doll in Annabelle 3 is going to face off with the Warrens in the ultimate crossover of the Conjuring universe.
Deadline reports The Conjuring‘s Patrick Wilson and Vera Farmiga are reprising their roles as paranormal investigators Ed and Lorraine Warren in the third Annabelle movie, but they’ll be supporting players this time around.
The horror blockbuster will centre around the Warrens capturing the demonic doll and bringing her to their Artifacts Room for safe keeping. Of course, Annabelle will escape and terrorise the Warrens’ 10-year-old daughter Judy and her teenage babysitter.
Fans of The Conjuring will know that Annabelle is one of the Warrens’ most notorious cases, so expect plenty of jump scares as the couple and their daughter try to contain the demonic toy.
It was previously announced that The Haunting of Hill House‘s young star McKenna Grace will have the unfortunate displeasure of tangling with even more supernatural foes as the Warrens’ daughter Judy.

Also joining the cast will be Madison Iseman, most recently of Jumanji: Welcome to the Jungle and Goosebumps 2: Haunted Halloween. Her exact role hasn’t been revealed just yet.
This latest spin-off of the main Conjuring series will feature Annabelle writer Gary Dauberman graduating to directing as well, with franchise boss James Wan back on board as producer.
The currently-untitled Annabelle sequel will be hitting cinemas in both the US and the UK on July 3, 2019.
