Why Georgia Steel and Sam Bird split – and it involves HER manager
When Sam Bird announced his split from Georgia Steel last night, he admitted it was too painful to discuss the reason why.
And now fan theories that the reason Sam couldn’t bring himself to comment is because Georgia has been "unloyal" – something that she denies.
Just hours after Georgia insisted she was "very sad" about the break up, she went on a "late night drive" with her manager Steve West.
And fans have rushed to comment their suspicions about their relationship.
"Let me guess… she wasn’t loyal?" one fan asked.
Another added: "I saw her with her ‘manager’ she doesn’t look that way.
"Just the way they act together I have seen it real life. When flowers from Sam get delivered he don’t look happy."
However a representative for Georgia told Mirror Online: "There is no truth in this whatsoever.
"Steven West is Georgia’s tour manager who drives her to PA’s and looks after her security wise and it’s in this professional capacity of which he is employed."
Meanwhile, a source told OK! Online that Sam only recently found out that Georgia wasn’t loyal.
"He truly believed that Georgia was the one, after their experience on Love Island, leaving the show to be together and moving in their home – he thought him and Georgia would be together for the long run," the source said.
"In his eyes they had a good relationship. However, Sam has recently found out Georgia has not been loyal to him."
Mirror Online has contacted Sam and Georgia’s respective representatives for comment.
They split just hours after they posed together on the ITV Palooza hot pink carpet on Tuesday night.
Sam wrote on Instagram: "I’m devastated to announce me and Georgia have split up for reasons I cant bring myself to comment on at the moment.
"As always I wish her all the best."
Georgia later posted: "I’m very sad to say me and Sam have split. I will always care about him.
"However please understand this is a hard time for us both thank you"
Celebrity break ups
The former couple recently moved in together, and had shared snaps of themselves settling into their new home with plush new furniture.
They got together on Love Island, but had a tough time with other couples believing they weren’t sincere.
They were forced to choose between splitting up or leaving the island together.
In a shock move they chose to stay but soon couldn’t hide their feelings for each other – sneaking kisses when they were supposed to be dating other people.
In a dramatic recoupling, Sam and Georgia refused to pick any of the other Islanders and instead left together.
