The Weeknd Reclaims Top Spot On Billboard Artist 100

The Weeknd is back at No. 1 on the Billboard Artist 100 chart, advancing 2-1 to top the list dated March 27, riding on the continued success of his album After Hours and hit singles “Blinding Lights” and “Save Your Tears.”

The climb has given The Weeknd his 22nd week at No. 1 on the Artist 100, the third-most weeks atop the chart after Taylor Swift and Drake, who topped the list for 42 weeks and 32 weeks, respectively.

After Hours ranks at No. 4 on the Billboard 200 with 32,000 equivalent album units earned, according to MRC Data.

“Blinding Lights” ranks at No. 6 on the latest Billboard Hot 100 list. The song, which stayed atop the list for four weeks in April-May 2020, ties the records for the most weeks spent in the top 20 and top 40, having made it to the 20s and 40s brackets 60 and 63 times, respectively.

The song also extends its mark for the most weeks spent in the top 10 (54) after also breaking the record for the most weeks spent in the top five (43).

Meanwhile, “Save Your Tears” places just ahead of “Blinding Lights” on the latest Hot 100 at No. 5 after reaching No. 4.
