Strictly Come Dancing 2020 star Ranvir Singh discussed the one skill she’s brought to the table in her partnership with professional dancer Giovanni Pernice. The 43-year-old, who is normally seen on ITV hosting Good Morning Britain, said that her experience working on live television was a huge “bonus”.
Each week, the contestants have to calm their nerves ahead of Saturday’s live show, going out onto the famous dance floor in front of the nation, but not Ranvir.
The TV star, who has been a part of the breakfast show for six years, said she enjoys the experience of being on live TV.
During an interview with The Sun, Ranvir said: “Most of my life in journalism has been about live television, so I suppose that is a real bonus.
“I’m happy about that, because I came with nothing else for Giovanni. This is my only offer to him, my ability to cope with live TV.”
She went on to say that her partner has advised her to focus only on what they were doing and not on everyone else.
However, Ranvir admitted she loved the “pressure”.
“To be honest, I love the pressure, and I think that probably does come from what I do in my day job, doesn’t it?
“Everything is now or never,” the TV star said.
The advice is clearly working as Ranvir has been continuously impressing the judges with her dancing skills.

Tonight, they will dance a cheeky Cha Cha to Oye Como Va/I Like It Like That by Santana and Pete Rodriguez.
