Princess Eugenie shares secret spot she watched flypast with son August and husband Jack
Princess Eugenie has shared a series of adorable photos of her family watching the Trooping of the Colour flypast.
The celebrations marking Her Majesty's 70-year reign began on Thursday morning as she walked out onto the Buckingham Palace balcony, joined by many of her family members, including Prince William and Kate Middleton alongside their three children.
But it appears some royals weren't invited to watch with them, leaving them no choice but to seek other locations to watch the flypast in honour of the 96 year old monarch.
Taking to her Instagram feed, Princess Eugenie revealed her secret spot to watch the event unfold with her husband Jack Brooksbank, 36, and their son August, one, as the trio stood on the roof of the Palace together.
Wearing a stunning blue dress with a chiffon pleated skirt alongside a beige hat, Eugenie, 32, could be seen waving her hand out at the air crafts in the air.
Standing next to her, Jack looked dapper in a black suit while holding up their son, who donned a white jumper, shorts, and a pair of white socks as the pair also waved.
Another photo showed Eugenie with one arm wrapped around Jack as they continued watching.
A final post showed a short clip of the princess following the colours across the sky before showing the back of the roof, which was filled with people.
"The most perfect day to celebrate 70 years," Eugenie captioned the post alongside four celebrations emojis.
Royal fans flocked to the comments section as one person wrote: "You are just a devoted granddaughter and still do so much service. I feel for you that you were not on the balcony yet a true Royal spirit handle everything with grace."
Another echoed the thoughts as they shared: "You should be on the balcony," as a third added: "All the grandchildren and great grandchildren should have been on the balcony".
Eugenie wasn't the only royal to miss out on standing on the balcony alongside the Queen as Meghan Markle and Prince Harry watched the celebrations through a window.

The Duchess of Sussex, 40, was seen entertaining some of the youngest members of the Royal family, including Savannah Phillips and Mia Tindall, ahead of Thursday afternoon's flypast.
Meghan could be seen through one of the windows of the Major General's Office, as she animatedly greeted the children, making faces and beaming at them.
The youngsters, who are the children of Zara and Mike Tindall, and Peter and Autumn Phillips, looked delighted by Meghan's larking around.
As she greeted the kids, Princess Beatrice's husband, Edoardo Mapelli Mozzi, looked on and smiled. Savannah, 11, could be seen adorably moving to plant a kiss on Meghan's cheek.
Another snap showed Meghan with Harry, 37, as they spoke with the Duke of Kent, who later accompanied the Queen as she made her way to the balcony.
The Sussexes are believed to have discreetly watched the Trooping the Colour parade from the Major General's Office.
