Chantel Jeffries emphasized her bust in a strapless black mini-dress that featured the slightly strange touch of large zippers up both sides.
Dua Lipa’s outfit looked as if it could be a rejected costume from a wedding episode of The Crown – an off-the-shoulder white number with a glittering necklace that looked like a long, bent nail.
The New Rules singer’s dress was cinched in just above the knee, at which point it fanned out toward a wide-set hem that dragged back into a bit of a train.

Dua Lipa was a vision in white at the American Music Awards. The British pop singer showed off what she was made of to her American counterparts wearing a show-stopping gown by Giambittista Valli.
Hailing from the brand’s Spring 2018 couture collection, this number incorporates a ruffle off-the-shoulder neckline and billowing mermaid silhouette.
We adore the feminine aesthetic; it reveals just the right amount of flesh while remaining age-appropriate for Dua. She simply completed her ensemble with delicate jewelry.

Tracee Ellis Ross, the compere of the evening’s award show, swung by the red carpet in a black and crepe pink pantsuit that could have been the image of chic if it had fit properly.
From a jacket cut off too high to a pair of oddly proportioned trousers, the outfit’s heart was the only thing about it that looked in the right place.

Showbiz family: On top of being Diana Ross’ daughter, she is also the sister of her fellow worst-dressed honoree Evan Ross
The daughter of Diana Ross wore an thick necklace that faintly resembled an armband from medieval Scandinavia, as well as a pair of glistening drop earrings, and she rolled her sleeves to the elbow.
On the same red carpet, Tracee’s brother Evan went shirtless beneath a green, blue, orange and red checked suit, offering a full view of the tangle of necklaces that hung over his chest.
His wife Ashlee Simpson, who is herself the sister of Jessica Simpson, was equally eye-popping in a midnight blue sequined wrap dress with a metallic belt, sweeping her hair into a high bun.

Trio: In a group shot to remember, the couple – who married at Diana’s Connecticut home in 2014 – were snapped alongside their fellow worst-dressed list member Tyra

Qveen Herby’s ensemble was as unusual as her stage name, featuring a knee-length crinoline with no dress on top of it and a Peter Pan collar, as well as a garish spray of multicolored cloth flowers.
Khalid was dressed for much colder weather than he was in, pulling on a thick white turtleneck and wrapping up in a bubblegum pink jacket that seemed suited to February in New York.

Spirit of the season: Just a few short weeks before Halloween, Halsey went for an ill-considered Gothic ensemble that was cut at mid-thigh at the front and fell to form a train at the back

Gathering her hair into a bit of a pompadour, she modeled slim-rimmed spectacles and a minimal makeup look, balancing on white ankle-strap stilettos.

Her off-the-shoulder ensemble featured several layers of skirt and was a crepe shade of purple, with splotchy black patterns scattered all over it.
