Former Good Morning Britain host Piers Morgan, 56, has fumed at President Joe Biden, 78, over his handling of the crisis in Afghanistan. It comes after Biden spoke about the bombings at Kabul airport, which killed at least 90 people and injured more than 150.
Piers shared a photo of Biden looking emotional, as he discussed the situation from the White House.
The bombings took place after the Taliban took control of the country ahead of the US officially ending its 20-year presence on August 31.
Islamic State said one of its suicide bombers targeted “translators and collaborators with the American army”.
Piers claimed Biden’s actions “will destroy his presidency” in a furious post.
The journalist wrote alongside the picture in view of his 1.7 million followers today: “Let’s be clear: President Biden has committed an act of shocking moral cowardice in Afghanistan that shames America & should horrify anyone who has an ounce of humanity in their heart.
“This picture sums it up – he knows what he’s done & he knows it will destroy his presidency.”
Fans took to the comments section of Piers’ post to share their thoughts.
One person wrote: “100% coming from an American.”
Another added: “One thing about Piers he will say it how it is!”
A third fan commented: “It’s heartbreaking to see the scenes from Afghanistan the evacuation process should have started before now these poor people have been let down massively.”
A fourth replied: “Was started by trump but I do agree he shouldn’t of continued the process.”(sic)
Piers also criticised Biden on his Twitter page, claiming in view of his 7.9 million followers: “President Biden looks and sounds tired, weak & defeated.

During his speech yesterday, Mr Biden said: “To those who carried out this attack, as well as anyone who wishes America harm, know this: We will not forgive, we will not forget.
“We will hunt you down and make you pay.”
He went on to say US evacuations would continue.
He also gave no indication of a change in next Tuesday’s US pullout target.
The President said: “I have also ordered my commanders to develop operational plans to strike ISIS-K assets, leadership and facilities.
“We will respond with force and precision at our time, at the place we choose and the moment of our choosing.”
“We will not forgive. We will not forget. We will hunt you down and make you pay,” U.S. President Joe Biden said of the perpetrators during televised comments from the White House.
“We will not be deterred by terrorists … We will continue the mission,” Biden said.
