She wrote alongside the snap: “Look where I am… Feels like yesterday I was on these cobbles.”

Michelle has previously spoken of her return to Coronation Street.

She told the Press Association in 2018: “I always say that I’d love to go back to Corrie.

“I was always a massive fan of Coronation Street growing up, and I’ll never say never. You never know what happens in the future.”

Talking of her role on Coronation Street while appearing on Alan Carr’s chatty man in 2018 she spoke why she chose to leave.

She said: “A lot of crying a lot of screaming a lot of shouting I just played myself really for the whole time.

“I could be there when I’m 80-years-old, and I thought to myself you know what if I didn’t leave when I did I would look back and think what if and that’s what made me leave in the end.

“It was a hard decision it took me a few years to decide, but when the time was right, I knew.”

She went on to say how the producers spoke of leaving the role open for her return at first.

“I was like ‘okay’, but I get it, it was a great storyline, and I went out with a bang literally.”

Back in June, Michelle spoke of how Coronation Street was her first acting job.

She said: “I was a huge Corrie fan, as was my whole family, so it was a big deal.

“It was so quick. I couldn’t get my head round it.

“I had to leave my job at Selfridges, learn all these lines.

“Walking onto the cobbles for the first time was so overwhelming. It was my first official job.

“I didn’t even know which chair to sit in when we went into the green room!”
