Marvel Just Revealed Another Major 'Avengers: End Game' Iron Man Easter Egg

Marvel has confirmed an Iron Man Easter Egg that eagle-eyed fans may have spotted in Avengers: Endgame.

At the point in the movie where the Avengers are preparing to travel through the Quantum Realm, go back in time and cheat their way out of the events of Infinity War, the assortment of superheroes reach out with their fists in a circle, and, from above, it kind of looks like Tony Stark’s old arc reactor, which he used to power his Iron Man suits.

Well, Marvel has now confirmed that was definitely a conscious decision. In a recent social media post, the studio’s official accounts shared an image of Tony’s reactor alongside the image of the fists.

They kind of look the same, we suppose. Although the fists in the top right of the circle are frustratingly wonky. Whatever, we’ll let them have it.

Since the release of the film, fans have found a whole bunch of Easter Eggs, with directors Joe and Anthony Russo revealing last year that there are still many to be discovered.

Just last week, one fan on Reddit highlighted a major Easter Egg in the original Thor, where Mjölnir is wedged in the ground and the Avengers symbol appears around it.

Considering Marvel fans are usually quick to spot this kind of stuff, it’s shocking that it’s taken them this long to clock this one.

Avengers: Endgame is out now on DVD, Blu-ray, 3D, 4K and digital download, and is available on Disney+.
