Mariah Carey Praises Billy Eichner’s Cover Of ‘Miss You Most (At Christmas Time)’

Mariah Carey has praised Billy Eichner‘s cover of “Miss You Most (At Christmas Time),” a song from her 1994 holiday album, Merry Christmas.

Eichner, making his television musical debut, performed the song on “The Late Late Show with James Cordon” on Tuesday (December 8). The actor sang Carey’s classic with red-lit Christmas trees serving as the backdrop.

“Bravo!!” Carey tweeted of the rendition, calling his performance “beautiful” and congratulating Eichner for “the first ever TV performance” of the song.

“Yes my eyes are misty because I can’t even believe @billyeichner brought this song back and did the first ever TV performance of it! Bravo!! Beautiful love you Billy,” she tweeted.

“MC! Now I am too,” Eichner responded. “Thank you. I love you. Thanks for giving me your blessing to do it! Merry Xmas.”

Carey then wrote, “Wiping tears. Absolutely love this. You’re the best.”
