Love Island’s Ellie Spence has ‘reached out’ to Islanders to bring feud ‘to an end’
Love Island's Ellie Spence has weighed in on the online drama that has been going on between former Islanders since leaving the villa.
The 24 year old, who entered the villa as a bombshell on Day 10 and was dumped on Day 26, has been vocal about her support for Olivia Hawkins, as an online feud between her and two other female Islanders has rumbled on outside of the show.
There has been drama between Tanyel Revan, Zara Lackenby-Brown and Olivia, after Tanyel accused Olivia, Shaq and Tanya of influencing Jordan's decision to recouple with Ellie during the show, meaning Tanyel was dumped from the villa.
During a recent podcast appearance, Olivia denied Tanyel's accusations that she had anything to do with Jordan's decision, and instead accused Tanyel her of "putting other girls down to boost a lie".
Seemingly in retaliation, Tanyel, Zara and another friend posted a TikTok video that was construed at throwing shade at Olivia, before she then posted her own video to Instagram as she blew a kiss, which was set to Mariah Carey's song, Obsessed.
Speaking exclusively to OK!, Ellie weighed in on the drama, as she said she had "reached out" to Tanyel and Zara to "bring the drama to an end".
She told us: "I've tried to reach out to Zara and Tanyel to try to be very mature and amicable because I think whatever drama that happens in the villa, it doesn't need to be brought outside the villa.
"I've definitely made my support for Olivia known to them and to people online."
Ellie said that, although the girls might come face to face at certain events, they will "have a good time in our separate ways".
She also admitted that Olivia was having a "hard time" amid the drama, and that she had been supporting her.
"I think hopefully it will come to an end now for Olivia's sake, because she is going through a hard time right now," Ellie told us.
"I speak to her daily, I check up on her daily, and regardless of whatever has been shown on TV, she's a lovely girl."
Ellie also said that a WhatsApp group between all of the Islanders "died out pretty quickly" but that many of them are still friends outside of the show.
"We all have our own individual relationships with each other. There's a lot of us so inevitably, some people are closer with certain people than they are with others."
Alluding to the drama between Tanyel, Zara and Olivia, Ellie said: "All of us that have come out and supported each other, we're very close, and others that, you know, haven't wanted to support, are not as close."
