And after Peirs Morgan labelled the etching “weird and creepy” the Loose Women stars weighed in on the debate on Monday 25 January.

Denise made her feelings very clear as she said: “I feel like we have become a very judgemental as a nation….

“Having said that, I think it's the worse thing I've seen in my entire life.

“People may call me a hypocrite and I have sons who have tattoos – and I hate their tattoos.”

Denise continued: “The sentiment is lovely but how is he going to read that without contorting himself? I don't get it I think its awful.”

Loose Women star Denise, who recently opened up on her health transformation, said her son Matty, who is the frontman of The 1975, has her name written on his foot which she also “hates”.

But, not all the panellists agreed with her as host Charlene White said she sees tattoos as “works of art”.

While Brenda Edwards added: “I love a tattoo but i don't have any myself. I might have my first one soon.”

And Nadia Sawalha said she loved tattoos so much she had paid for her daughter Maddie to get one for her 18th birthday.

Brooklyn’s latest inking is a love letter written to him from his wife-to-be Nicola, who he proposed to last year.

It reads: “My forever boy. Read this anytime you feel anxious. I want you to know how deeply loved you are.
