Live stream for Rayo Vallecano v Barcelona match

League leaders Barcelona action return to La Liga action and will hope to build on their 5-1 drubbing of rivals Real Madrid last week.

The Catalans produced a fine performance to stick five past Los Blancos at the Nou Camp to stay top of the pile after 10 matches.

Opponents Rayo Vallecano have had a contrast in fortunes since their promotion from Segunda Division in May, and are currently helping basement club Huesca hold the rest of the table up in 19th.

But with Barca set to travel to Milan on Tuesday, and with doubts over captain Lionel Messi’s fitness, Vallecano may just fancy a sniff.

Here’s all you need to know about the game…

When is the game?

The game is the late match in La Liga’s billing for Saturday November 3, and will kick off at 19:45 local time.

Where is the game being played?

Rayo Vallecano play host to Barca at their wonderfully named Campo de Futbol de Vallecas.

The last time these two sides met here was an absolute cracker, with six goals, two red cards and a missed penalty all on display back in March 2016.

Sadly for Vallecano, they were on the receiving end of five of those goals, three of which had come from Lionel Messi in the 5-1 rout.

Is the game on TV?

Unfortunately not, due to Eleven Sports gaining the rights to La Liga this season, the game will not be shown on TV in the UK.

However, fear not, you can follow the live blog right here on Mirror Football.

Can you live stream the game?

Subscribers to Eleven Sports can watch via their mobile and tablet apps and platforms.

Team news

The big news is of course surrounding Barcelona’s talisman Lionel Messi, who sadly isn’t likely to feature despite returning to training this week.

Messi has been out of action with a broken arm and is set to sit out the trip, along with defender Samuel Umtiti who has only just returned from a knee problem.

The Catalan club rested several players in midweek for the clash with Cultural, but are all expected to be brought back into the fold.

Manager Ernesto Valverde may have one eye on Tuesdays Champions League clash with Inter Milan however, and could choose to change things up against the team that have conceded 20 goals in 10 games so far this season.

One change that could be made to the side that started the El Clasico could see Ousmane Dembele selected in the role left vacant by Messi, although Rafinha has deputised well so far.
