Laura Anderson shares adorable photo of baby Bonnie ‘chilling in this heat’

Laura Anderson has shared an adorable picture of her new-born "chilling" during the heatwave.

The former Love Island star welcomed her baby Bonnie Rose Lucy Anderson with ex Gary Lucy's on September 2.

The 34-year-old, who shared her pregnancy journey exclusively with OK!, has now took to Instagram to give an insight in her new family bubble.

Posting a picture to her Instagram story, Laura said little Bonnie is "chillin in this heat" while she sleep in her DockATot baby pod with a white noise machine.

In the snap Bonnie appears to be in a relaxed position, with her hands behind her head.

The update comes after Laura shared a sweet Reel to her Instagram which documented the birth of Bonnie.

On the video, the family of three were seen on their way to the hospital and shortly after the birth when the umbilical cord was cut.

In another clip, Laura and Gary can be seen holding hands as they left the hospital with their daughter – sparking rumours of a reconciliation between the pair.

In the caption, Laura wrote as if it was Bonnie introducing herself, she said: "Hi everyone, my name is Bonnie Rose Lucy Anderson.

"I was born 02/09/23 at 06.03am and weighed 6.10lbs My Mummy & Daddy are sooooo happy and in love with me, this is our first week together.

"I’m sorry it’s taken me some time to introduce myself, I hurt my mummy a little bit and scared my daddy too (oops) we’re all now recovering well at home."

The post ended with: "Please don’t question My Mummy & Daddy on their relationship- This.. is all about me."

Hundreds of people rushed to the comments to congratulate the couple, including fellow celebrities.

Charlotte Crosby from Geordie Shore said: "Laura!!!!!! I’m over the moon for you what a beautiful name I absolutely love it"

Former Love Island star Shaughna Phillips commented: "Just perfect, congratulations darling she is everything and more."

Another Love Island allumni added: "Congratulations girl! Bonnie is such a beautiful name, she’s perfect!"

While Samie Elishi wrote: "Congratulations Angel," whilst Jess Harding said: "Awww congratulations!"

And Cara De La Hoyde said: "Congratulations to you both she is the cutest little lady ever enjoy your bubble xx."

Bonnie is Laura's first child, while her the Hollyoaks star dad, Gary Lucy has four children already, India, Elvis, Sadie and Theodore, with ex wife Natasha.

Gary and Laura shared the news that they were expecting in February with an Instagram video of her showing off her blossoming baby bump alongside the caption: "Our hearts are full. Baby Lucy due Summer ’23.”

Just days after the announcement the couple confirmed they were no longer in a relationship, with Gary, 41, stating: "I love Laura but we are no longer together.

"My main drive as always is to work together to co-parent our child. I look forward to the arrival of the new baby.”

Laura later broke her silence on the breakup, telling OK!: "It’s been a bit of a rollercoaster so far," she said. "Going through a public break-up while pregnant and reading mistruths in the media has been a challenge.

"I just want to be positive and move forward, and I'm really excited about her coming along. I think if I can get through this, I can get through anything."

Laura added: "I wanted us to reconcile and I wanted things to work out.

"But because of things I found out since then, and the fact nothing has been discussed or resolved, I think for now I'm trying to just be positive and think about the baby and be strong, because everything became too chaotic."
