Juice WRLD’s Cause Of Death Revealed
An accidental overdose of codeine and oxycodone caused the untimely death of young rapper Juice WRLD, it has been confirmed by the Cook County Medical Examiner’s office.
“The Medical Examiner’s Office has determined the cause and manner of death of 21-year-old Jarad A. Higgins”, an official statement on Twitter said Wednesday, referring to the rapper’s original name. “Higgins died as a result of oxycodone and codeine toxicity.”
The manner of death is accident, according to the Medical Examiner’s office.
The hip-hop artist suffered a seizure in the terminal of Chicago’s Midway airport after he landed on a private jet from Los Angeles on December 8.
He was reportedly bleeding from the mouth when paramedics attended to him and died at the hospital.
In the track “Legends” from his album Too Soon, released the day after the death of XXXTentacion, he sings, “What’s the 27 club? We ain’t making it past 21.”
