After marking one year of staying sober, James Argent has been pictured keeping his health a priority with a boxercise walk near his home in Essex.

The reality star, who previously looked back on his "near fatal overdose" on his birthday last year, appeared to look focused as he took part in a workout on Thursday.

Arg, 33, was dressed in an all black outfit, which consisted of a top, a pair of joggers and a jacket to keep the cold out.

He wore a pair of socks and brought some colour to his outfit with some eye-catching orange and green trainers.

The former TOWIE star had some black gloves on and held some weights in his hands, with some earpods in his ears as he worked out.

Arg's sighting comes after he shared his pride for celebrating one year of staying sober.

On 2 January, he shared a photo of a black keyring with gold lettering etched on for his fans to see on his Instagram stories.

The keyring read: "We're here and we're free" with the words: "One year" etched in the middle. The other side said: "Hope faith courage".

On top of the snap, he gushed: "1 year clean & sober. A huge milestone I'm extremely proud of," followed by a red heart emoji.

At the beginning of December, the television personality shared a video of himself singing Blackbird Singing in the Dead of Night by The Beatles.

He captioned it: "A year ago today on my birthday I was rushed into hospital after a near fatal drug overdose.

"Today I'm over 11 months clean & sober, If I can achieve this in 2020 with everything against me then I believe I can achieve anything."
