Iman reveals she’ll never remarry after losing David Bowie

Iman has opened up about her heartbreak after losing husband David Bowie in January 2016.

Almost three years after the music icon’s death from cancer, she reveals she’s still not even considering meeting another man.

Speaking to Net-a-Poter site Porter Edit , she said: "Sometimes, I don’t want people to know how sad I am.

“People say to me, ‘Oh, you’re so strong.’

“I’m not strong – I am just trying to keep it together.”

The pair were married for 24 years and have one daughter together, 18-year-old Lexi.

“I will never remarry,” she went on. “I mentioned my husband the other day with someone, and they said to me: ‘You mean your late husband?’ I said, no, he is always going to be my husband.”

She admitted: “I do feel very lonely. But do I want a relationship? I can’t say never, but no, not now.”

Elsewhere in the interview, Iman also talked about daughter Lexi (she also has a 40-year-old daughter Zulekha from her marriage to basketball player Spencer Haywood).

The teen, who has 31k followers on Instagram , is currently taking a gap year against her mum’s wishes.

“She says I am overprotective," Iman shares. "But I told her, this can all wait, it isn’t going anywhere. Have a life that is private while you can, because one day soon it is going to be public, so enjoy this," she added.
