I’m A Celebrity’s Nadine Coyle slammed as ‘full of s**t’ by Girls Aloud bandmate Cheryl
When Girls Aloud announced their 2013 tour would be their last, thousands of fans were at a loss for words.
But no one was in more shock than I'm A Celebrity…Get Me Out Of Here! star Nadine Coyle as she said she had no part in the decision and blamed her bandmates for the split.
She tweeted: "You should know by now I had no part in any of this split business. I couldn't stop them. I had the best time & want to keep going. Xxxx".
The 34 year old, who was recently labelled an IKEA worker thanks to her yellow shirt on I'm A Celebrity, went on to give an explosive interview claiming Kimberley Walsh, Nicole Roberts, Sarah Harding and Cheryl plotted the break up behind her back.
Clearly upset by the development, Nadine claimed the statement was posted long before she even had a chance to digest the information.
Speaking to the Daily Mail, she said: "Not one of them had breathed a word. I know it sounds incredible but it's true.
"It was the last night of the tour. I was in my dressing room getting ready when the management came in and said, 'We need to talk to you. The girls want to split up the band and this is the statement they want to put out.'
"I thought 'What?' I said, 'I don’t want the band to split up.' They said, 'We know you don’t, but that’s what’s happening.'
"I said, 'Don’t put the statement out. I haven’t read it properly and I have to get dressed. We’re about to go on stage.'
"I went straight to Sarah and said, 'Do you want out of the band too?”' She said, 'Yes I do.' I felt numb. It was shock. I definitely hadn’t seen that coming…"
Nadine went on to say that by the time she managed to catch up with the girls following the concert, someone had already posted the statement on the band's official Twitter account. She continued: "No one's ever owned up to who did it. But by the time I saw that statement the whole world knew."
The break up drama didn't stop there though as Nadine's tweet and interview caught Cheryl's attention.
The Geordie singer, who's still the most important person in her ex Liam Payne's life , spoke to Attitude Magazine about the ordeal, saying: "She's full of s**t. What d'you want us to say? She's full of s**t. She was the one who wanted to make a solo record. Which is why we took the hiatus.

"OK, so do you want us to tell the truth? She wasn't going to make another Girls Aloud record until she got a solo deal. I feel she held us to ransom and then made her solo record deal.
"It's the truth. She's saying that we broke the band up. So there you go."
Following the break up, Nadine focused on her own solo career but was forced to cancel her UK and Ireland tour in 2019, admitting it "just wasn't meant to be."
Despite all of this Cheryl gave fans a glimmer of hope of a potential Girls Aloud reunion tour as she recently met up with bandmates Nicole and Kimberley.
