Holly Willoughby shares amazing moment Elton John dedicates song to her
Holly Willoughby has revealed how Elton John made her dreams come true – by dedicating a song to her and husband Dan Baldwin.
She and her TV producer bae had been watching Elton's Goodbye Yellow Brick Road Tour in Tuscany, Italy, when the music legend called out her name.
The This Morning beauty had begged fans to track down the footage and that's exactly what they did.
"I was beginning to think it was all a dream…but it did actually happen…Thank @eltonjohn…making dreams come true," she gleefully wrote on her Instagram .
Elton is sat at his piano and is heard saying, "I hope you like what you see and what you hear. And this song is for Dan and Holly" before launching into I Guess That's Why They Call It The Blues.
The video has already clocked up nearly 500,000 views, with fans flooding the video with excited comments.
"I'm so pleased that this 'special clip' was found. Well done and pleased for you Holly and Dan," one wrote.
Another said: "Just cried."
Holly's fellow presenter mate Davina McCall also took to Instagram to comment on the footage.
"Oh my god, are you for real?" she said in awe.
Holly recently told This Morning viewers why she was absent on a Monday, explaining that she had been enjoying a long weekend.
"I had the best weekend, I really did. Dan surprised me with some tickets to go see Elton John a long, long time ago," she told co-host Phillip Schofield.
"And it was a very special concert because it was in Tuscany. It was outside in the walled city of Lucco, it was absolutely beautiful," she went on to explain.
The dedication came after Holly told Sir Elton before the show how a lyric from his hit I Guess That's Why They Call It The Blues meant a lot to them as a couple.
"I told him at the time that Dan and I have a favourite lyric, 'live for each second without hesitation. And never forget I'm your man'. We love that bit so I told him that and didn't think anything of it," she reminsced.
"And then we went to see the concert. We were standing there and Elton goes, 'I'm dedicating this song to Holly and Dan' and played the song and it was one of the most magical moments of my lie ever."
