Helen Flanagan emotionally rants about ‘feeling judged’ – after Scott Sinclair split
Former Coronation Street star Helen Flanagan has shared an emotional rant to her Instagram story, revealing that she often feels judged by strangers when out with her children.
The mum-of-three, 32, opened up about a recent encounter that left her feeling "annoyed" with how she was treated as a mum.
Newly-single Helen, said: "I'm quite good I think at controlling my emotions, I'm quite busy, but I always have emotional outbursts when I'm due on.
"This is like a long story short, but I get, I was really annoyed last week because I won't go into too much detail but basically I hate it when mums are made to feel uncomfortable in kind of like I don't know."
She continued: "I didn't have Matilda young but youngish and I've always gone everywhere with my kids, like flown with them, trains, hotels and I've just literally always gone where I want to go.
"I just don't like it when you get people who basically are being rubbish towards you because you've got kids and you're a mum, basically giving you the evils.
"I'm probably babbling but yeah that really irritates me, when people are just mean to mums.
"I won't go into the conversation too much because it's just too long, I just get really really annoyed when people aren't nice to mums."
The emotional rant comes as Helen prepares for her first Christmas following her split from fiancée Scott Sinclair.
Despite it not yet being December, the former soap star has already decorated her home, and taken to Instagram to show off her festive decor.
“I love my tree, thank you @thechristmascompany for coming to my house today the girls loved it,” she captioned the clip.
Helen predicted that many people would say it’s too early, given that most people put them up on December 1, and added: “I know I’m early, but I was so late with my tree last year and the girls love it.”
The short clip shows a silver-draped Christmas tree standing in what looks to be her living room, adorned with an array of silver decorations including ice skates, baubles and bows.
Speaking of her life plans in the run-up to Christmas, Helen told The Sun: "I'm the only one around my house who has got their Christmas lights up.
"We're probably [going to be] at home, I'm having a new dining room which I'm very excited about, so yes, Christmas at my house."
