Foo Fighters Cover Metallica With Young Fan
Foo Fighters recently played a cover version of Metallica‘s “Enter Sandman” along with a 10-year old young fan.
During the Foo Fighters concert at the Sprint Center on Friday, October 12 in Kansas City, Missouri, frontman Dave Grohl called Collier Cash Rule on stage and asked him if he could play a guitar. The kid replied that he knew how to play the instrument and knew several Metallica songs.
“I know a lot of Metallica songs,” said the fifth-grader, to which Grohl responded, “Do I know a lot of Metallica songs?”
Collier then proceeded to play the main riff to the Metallica’s classic “Enter Sandman.” Grohl then asked Collier if he knew another Metallica song, after which the 10-year-old played into “Welcome Home (Sanitarium)” and a bit of “Wherever I May Roam.”
Grohl was very much impressed by Rule that he presented his guitar to the boy after his performance.
“Lookout world…Next generation of rockers coming soon to an arena near you! Thanks Collier!- Dave” Foo Fighters official twitter account tweeted along with a YouTube link of Rule’s performance.
