Faye Winter shares glimpse inside new Devon home after leaving property she shared with Teddy
Love Island star Faye Winter has shared a glimpse inside her stunning new home as she embarks on the next chapter of her life, since splitting from former flame Teddy Soares.
Faye split from Teddy after enjoying an 18 month long relationship back in February, with the pair packing up their belongings and moving out of the plush home they shared together.
But now, returning to her Devon roots, Faye has revealed she is feeling “more like herself” again, after setting up her own home with dog Bonnie.
Taking to Instagram to reveal a sneak peek inside her brand new pad, Faye showcased her living room which was kitted out in multiple shades of grey, taupe and cream.
Grey flag tiled floors were topped with an oval fluffy rug in a coordinating shade of pale grey, while a large curved Perce & Williams button back sofa sat covered in row upon row of chic cushions.
There was even a matching footstool on hand to relax at the end of the long day, while tuning into her ample flat screen TV which was perfectly poised on top of a grey TV cabinet from Charles Ted Interiors.
Elsewhere in the same photo, fans were also able to see that Faye had opted for an open plan living and dining space, with a large dining table and chairs, tucked away at the back of the room beside a set of French doors.
Discussing her new home in the accompanying image caption, Faye wrote: “Welcome to our home! This time we wanted nothing but open spaces and light. I think we got exactly what we wanted.”
She then continued: “This month has been about prioritising mine and Bonnies safe place and home together.”
“I’d never lived on my own before so was naturally worried about how lonely I’d feel, however the truth is I’ve never felt less alone in my life!”
Reflecting on her journey to get to this point, Faye then added: Life is about choices, choices we can’t be certain about the outcome but the choice to be back in Devon is something I got so right, I’m a happy version of myself again, actually I just feel like me again.”
In addition to her stunning new home, Faye has also credited her new outlook on life to pub lunches with her mum and dad and moorland walks for helping to clear her head after a turbulent few months.
However the star did admit that returning home without Teddy was bittersweet, especially as she had hoped they would one day settle down together in the West Country.
"That was always my plan," Faye told OK! "I always imagined my kids having the same upbringing as I had. One thing I’ve really learned in the last two years is you can’t plan your future. I’m just going to see if I can make it work.
"You’re very much made to believe nowadays that you should have everything figured out by 27, but I don’t yet, and that’s OK. I’ve had to come to terms with it, don’t get me wrong."
She then continued: ”It’s so hard. I honestly believed he was my soulmate. It’s always hard to come to terms with these things and him not being there to build a life with.
"But you have to respect each other. It’s a loss, but you’ve got to keep on moving forwards."
