Curtis Pritchard admits he cried as he discussed Maura Higgins split on Celebs Go Dating

Curtis Pritchard has admitted he broke down in tears as he opened up on his split from Maura Higgins.
Professional dancer Curtis, 24, has revealed opened up about his romance with the 30 year old Irish beauty, who confirmed her romance with Chris Taylor in November, as he appeared on the latest series of Celebs Go Dating.
Curtis confessed he became tearful as he discussed their romance and how it broke down during his first meet with dating experts Paul C Brunson and Anna Williamson on the E4 show.
He told The Sun Online: “I cried, because I hadn’t spoken to anybody about the Maura situation before.

“To talk openly and freely was a breath of fresh air.
“It was nice to be able to speak with people I felt safe talking about it with.”
Curtis and Maura began dating after meeting on Love Island in 2019. The couple appeared to go from strength to strength after leaving the villa.
But, their romance came to an end in March shortly after he appearance on Dancing on Ice.
Nearly a year on, after Maura hinted at plans to marry Chris Taylor, Curtis is ready to find love again on Celebs Go Dating and sounds optimistic about his future.
He said: “I love the work I do, and I’m still young.
“I just feel it was also the same for Maura, and it just meant we went our separate ways.”
However, Maura isn’t the only Love Island star Curtis, who recently sparked romance rumours with Kimberly Hart-Simpson, no longer speaks to.
Curtis recently revealed he no longer speaks to any of his former villa friends, including former BFF Tommy Fury, whom Curtis previously claimed “hadn’t replied” to his messages.
He was asked by Strictly Come Dancing winner Bill Bailey on Steph’s Packed Lunch if he has kept in touch with any of his co-stars.
The dancer then said: “I haven't, no. I'm just going to tell you straight, I actually really haven't to be fair.

“Since everything that's gone down like lockdowns and this and that, I've just focused on myself and done me.”
Curtis’ I’m A Celebrity brother AJ, who appeared alongside his sibling on the show, joked: “Is it because you've got rid of the Love Island ones and now you've gone on to Celebs Go Dating friends?
“You've got a whole new WhatsApp group that's gone from one to the other now!”
