Chloe Ferry shares heart-breaking reason behind present-ban this Christmas

Geordie Shore favourite Chloe Ferry has opened up on the tragic reason behind her family's decision to ban presents from Christmas Day this year.

The 27 year old blonde bombshell, who rose to fame after joining the Newcastle reality series back in 2015, opened up about her plans for the big day this weekend, admitting she's not bothered about materialistic gifts.

Asked by The Sun what she's expecting to find under the tree, Chloe revealed: "We’ve actually said this year like we're not going to get any… like obviously I've got all the kids and stuff…we're going to get the kids presents."

Chloe has told "mam" Liz, 59, to "keep the money" she would have spent on gifts, claiming "if I were to get just a box of chocolates or a candle at Christmas, I'll be happy".

And when it comes to Chloe's plans for the 25th – despite owning her very own £1.1 million mansion in the North-East – it's up to her mother to host guests and cook the Christmas dinner this year.

Chloe's house is currently being renovated as she's building an extension from the back end. With this in mind, she's planning to spend the big day at her mum's house.

But what does a festive lunch look like in the Ferry household?

Well, according to Chloe, the family love nothing more than a tradition English Christmas dinner, complete with prawn cocktails.

The news of Chloe's low-key family Christmas comes just weeks after the star announced she'd split from boyfriend Johnny Wilbo for third and reportedly final time.

According to insiders close to the former couple, Johnny had been trying to win back Chloe after she dumped him in October for messaging other women.

At the time of their original split, Chloe insisted that there would be "no second chances", but she has since confirmed that they did briefly reconcile, before going their separate ways.

Chloe told The Sun that she and Johnny were still friends, but she confirmed that they "definitely won’t" be spending Christmas together, admitting: "I don’t even want to be with anyone. I had such a bad 2022 that I physically can’t wait for ’23."

Speaking on Instagram following her first split with ex-beau Johnny, she wrote: "As you may all be aware, there are rumours about my partner Johnny messaging numerous girls without my knowledge.

"These rumours are true and Johnny is no longer my partner but is now my ex-partner.

"I have a lot going on in my life before this extra hurt, so please could I ask you all not to inform me on any more information.

"One message to one girl is enough for me and I don't wish to see anymore."
