Ashley Cain shares heartbreaking photo of late daughter’s grave on Mother’s Day

Former Ex On The Beach star Ashley Cain has shared a photo of his late daughter’s grave on Mother’s Day.

Ashley’s daughter Azaylia tragically passed away aged eight months in April 2021 following a battle with leukaemia.

With Azaylia’s passing in mind, days like today are undeniably difficult for families like his and mothers like Safiyya Vorajee, 34 – Ashley’s partner.

In one photograph shared on Instagram, Ashley, 30, posed for a snap with his grandma, his mum, his godmother and Safiyya and gushed over how he will “appreciate them forever”.

Describing the photo, he wrote: “My grandmother, my god mother, my baby’s mother and my mother. 4 incredible mother’s in their own right who I’d like to celebrate in abundance for everything they’ve given to me and this world.

“They are strong, they are loving, they are caring and they always give 100% to the people who need them. It’s safe to say, I wouldn’t be who I am today without these women and I will love and appreciate them forever."

A second photograph showed Safiyya and Ashley’s mum stood in front of Azaylia’s grave.

Calling it “a hard picture to put into words”, he wrote: “A broken mother and grandmother on Mother’s Day. Loving, missing and yearning with all their hearts for their daughter and granddaughter, at her resting place. It also shows my other grandmother’s resting place, above my daughters who we lost last year.”

Sharing his thoughts with other people who have lost mums and children this Mother’s Day, Ashley continued: “On this day, as well as celebrating all the amazing mothers out there. I would like to share most of my love and strength for the mothers who have lost their children, and the people who have lost their mothers. I wish you a gentle day today.”

“We love you will all our hearts Azaylia, your mommy is making you proud,” his post concluded.

Ashley’s 1.8 million Instagram followers have since sent their love to him and the rest of his family.

One person wrote: “Such a tough day for you all, I can see it in safs eyes the hurt and pain, please give her a big cuddle from us all who have followed your all, we pray for you all to be with azaylia one day and celebrate all the occasions missed on this earth”.

Someone else said: “A family so beautiful kind loving and caring god bless you all,” as a third person penned: “I have followed your story since your beautiful little girl arrived! I don't normally post, but I have seen so much strength with you both. My heart goes out to you. Your little girl made such an impact in a way, you probably would never realise. She will be remembered for ever! The love you both had will be remembered 4 ever! Stay strong, be kind to yourselves, it's a long road.”
