Naga Munchetty has been inundated with messages after the broadcaster opened up about her “busy” schedule today. The BBC Breakfast presenter is a regular fixture on the morning programme alongside her other duties, including fronting her show on Radio 5 Live.

The 46-year-old addressed her “busy” schedule as the broadcaster admitted she has an eventful week ahead.

Naga explained that she would be filling in for Adam Fleming in his absence on the BBC’s political show Newscast.

Taking to Twitter today, the presenter shared the details of her working day which certainly caught the attention of her 265,000 followers.

She wrote: “Busy one today…

“About to be in your ears @bbc5live 11am-1pm. Looking at NHS backlogs, chatting to @LindsayHoyle_MP & looking at mixed messages for childrens’ clothing – your thoughts?”

Naga added: “Then off to Newscast sitting in for @adamfleming.”

She was swiftly inundated with messages of support, as social media users praised Naga’s work ethic.

JJ Harbey Bean commented: “You’ve made me feel tired looking at your itinerary!”

This is not the first time that Naga has joined Newscast after she joined the line-up for a celebrity special last year.

Naga explained: “I got home on Saturday and I’d been up early.

“We had friends coming over for dinner and we had a lovely meal.”

She continued: “They’re used to me doing this.

“I said, ‘I’m just going to grab a quick 20 minutes on the sofa.’ But they couldn’t wake me up.

“They woke me really late that evening to my friends that had gone. I was told to go to bed.”

Naga finished: “It wasn’t a good look.”
