Gordon Ramsay's daughter Tilly 'ruled out of Strictly after breaking arm'

Gordon Ramsay’s daughter Tilly has reportedly been ‘ruled out’ of appearing on Strictly Come Dancing after breaking her arm.

The 18-year-old, whose arm was put in a cast last week, was reportedly excited to take part in the competition although her injury won’t be better in time for filming.

‘It’s a huge blow for her as she was hugely excited about taking part,’ a source explained.

‘And it’s a headache for BBC bosses, who thought signing Tilly was a coup, with her famous dad and his pals bound to back her.

‘Tilly has been told by doctors her arm won’t be fixed in time,’ the source added to The Sun.

The source went on to add that there was talk of Tilly taking it ‘day by day’ and TV bosses have reportedly assured her that she can take part in the series next year ‘if she’s up for it’.

Another big name who has also reportedly been approached for the show is former popstar, Myleene Klass.

It was previously reported that Jonathan Ross’ wife, Hollywood producer Jane Goldman, is also in talks to sign up for the 2020 series.

Jane has a remarkable track record as a screenwriter, penning screenplays for blockbusters such as Stardust, X-Men: First Class, and Kingsmen.

It comes after bosses are also looking to make major changes due to the coronavirus lockdown – such as scrapping the annual trek to Blackpool.

Metro.co.uk has reached out to Strictly Come Dancing and Gordon Ramsay’s rep for comment.

Strictly Come Dancing comes to BBC this year.
